Chain Inspection,Enhance The Quality Of The Bag

Most women are not satisfied with the ordinary style of the bag, the brand has racked their brains to design a variety of styles to please women, and finally a chain bag turned out. Although this happened a few years ago, but the chain bag still quite popular nowadays. In fact, the chain bag is a handbag with a metal bracelet. Many young people have divided the chain bag into the category of “old-fashioned and expensive”before, but when they saw the street snap of stars, they suddenly discovered that in their imagination only the older generation of ladies can use the accessories, which can be integrated with street fashion and no conflict. The handles of most bags are all leather. When the bag is inspected, it is important to check whether the leather is peeled and stressed. For the chain bag, the chain inspection is particularly prominent, after all, it is an important part of a bag.

Defect Categories Of Chain Inspection

The use of metal chains as handles is indeed a fashion element, but the following types of problems often plague women and are common defect categories in chain inspection:

  1. Metal chain fade
  2. Metal chain rust
  3. Metal chain break
  4. Metal chain knot

Chain Inspection-Why Do These Defects Occur

The main reason of losing color:

The friction with the hands and clothing causes the coating of the chain to gradually wear away; the sulfur and oxides in the air and other natural media, as well as the hand sweat, have a great corrosive effect on the coating of the chain, which make the gloss gradually fade and the surface has spots.

Solution: A protective layer is usually added to the metal surface to prevent oxidation and prevent direct rubbing of the clothing against the metal.

The main reason for rust:

As a result of the oxidation reaction of the metal surface with the oxygen in the air, a metal oxide is formed on the surface of the metal, which is rust.

Solution: Also add a protective layer on the metal surface to prevent oxidation. In chain inspection, it is necessary to pick out defective products in time to prevent other products from being affected.

The main reason for the break:

Most of the chain shapes with ring linked one by one and each ring has a gap. If the gap is too large, the chain is very easy to break.Or the connection between the chain and the bag is unstable, and the thickness of the chain is not enough, which can only accept a small force. When the load is too large, the chain will break.

Solution: The early production of the chain guarantees the quality, the design is reasonable, and it is not allowed to cut corners. In the later stage of production, the chain inspection is carried out to test the load capacity of the chain.

The main reason for knot:

When the chain was fixed, it was not checked if it was straight and smooth. When doing the quality inspection, this problem was not found, which resulted in the product directly going to the market.

solution: Before the production, do a full-scale preliminary evaluation of the raw material, semi-finished product production process and the factory output of the product. The Initial Inspection article explains in details.  At the time of production, the control of each link must be in place and the third-party inspection company should be arranged to conduct the chain inspection to make the final check.
