On February 21, Zhejiang Jinma Crafts Co., Ltd. located in Yunhe, Zhejiang ushered in a group of guests – the “Pioneer in Enterprise” Yunhe County Science and Technology Bureau service team. To the surprise of the owner, Mada Fei, the service team sent the company a record system for original products of wooden play.

“The filing system has worked out the problem of protecting our original products, which has plagued us for more than a decade, so we can be bold and innovative in the future.” Madafei said happily. In front of the computer in the R&D room on the second floor of the enterprise, the service team members installed the system and taught everyone how to use it .

Trouble With China Yunhe Wooden Toy

Wooden Toys in Yunhe, China are a local pillar industry, and after transformation and upgrading in recent years, Yunhe has become one of the world’s largest wooden toy manufacturing centres. According to statistics, in 2018, there were 1,095 wooden toy enterprises in the county, employing more than 30,000 people, with an annual output value of over one billion dollars. Every year, there are more than 30 patent applications, and a patented product can directly bring benefits of more than 500,000 dollars to the enterprise. This is another new breakthrough following the eight industrial clusters of China Guangdong Toys  . In the past, the way of brand protection was to apply for patents from the state, and the time from application to approval was as long as one year. “So when new products are developed, we have to spend a year.” Madafei said.

Change, from Yunhe’s “in the enterprise pioneer” “three services” activities to start. This year, Yunhe carefully selected 500 leading cadres, party building instructors, party members volunteers to form a “pioneer in the enterprise” group, directly contact the county more than 500 enterprises, “one-to-one” service enterprises. It is reported that the 500 “pioneers in enterprises” have collected 98 enterprise problems, divided into 8 categories, and formulated solutions one by one.

Just enter the relevant information on the computer to complete the record, the record of the new product will be recognized by the industry and the Toy Association, protected during the patent application, can effectively prevent bad competition and infringement of imitation within the industry.
