Zhejiang, China: A Big Industry Of Wooden Toys In a Small Town
Yunhe County, Zhejiang Province, China, is known as the “hometown of wooden toys”. The county’s wooden toy industry started in the 1970s and has transformed from OEM to brand building and from export to domestic and international markets. In 2020, the output value of the China Yunhe wooden toy industry was 1.336 billion U.S. dollars, with 1,095 related enterprises, employing more than 30,000 people, and products containing ten categories, thousands of series and tens of thousands of varieties, selling well in more than 70 countries and regions.
