Clothing Quality Control

Clothing Quality Control Requires Perfect Ironing Process

After ironing the clothes, the clothes can be more smooth and achieve a three-dimensional and beautiful effect.  During the manufacturing process and after the finished product is made, ironing is usually included in the clothing quality control required by the importer and its final effect is strictly checked.  Clothing ironing can be generally divided into ironing in production and clothing ironing, which can be divided into small ironing, medium ironing and large ironing.  In popular terms, small ironing refers to the initial lining, semi-finished products and ironing at zero position.  Medium ironing is the operation of the setting-up process of each cut plate.  The big ironing is the finishing ironing of ready-made clothes.

The last step of clothing production is ironing

1.Clothing Quality Control-Small ironing

Small ironing mainly aims at pre – shrinking the cut pieces to prevent deformation of the garment pieces due to heating and humidification during medium ironing, which affects the size and specification of the garment.  Therefore, when clothing quality control, factory needs to pay attention to the size and deformation of the finished product. If there is a deviation in size, it may be that the size is cut incorrectly or the small ironing process does not meet the requirements which is very important part of clothing quality control for manufacturing.

2.Clothing Quality Control-Mediumironing

The purpose of medium ironing is not only to flatten cloth cover and seam allowance, but also to make ready-made clothes more in line with the curve change of human body and make up for the three-dimensional effect that cannot be achieved by the sewing process. Only when sewing and ironing are linked and matched well, the ready-made garments can ensure the good three-dimensional effect and dimensional stability, which is the product requirements of importers to be respected. On the contrary, it can be traced back to whether the clothing quality control in this process and the processing process meets the requirements and solve the defect problem in time.

3.Clothing Quality Control-The overall ironing

In the case that the garment ironing process is up to standard, the ironing often achieves twice the result with half the effort, because there is already a good intermediate ironing foundation before ironing, so the ironing process is relatively less time-consuming and can be used to as finishing touch, but the clothing quality control still cannot be ignored.

The above three steps of ironing and closeness quality control are closely linked and play a crucial role in whether the finished product is beautiful or not. Failure to meet the standards will definitely affect the product quality and garment shape, and serious cases may face the risk of being recalled.

For example:

  1. The fabric shrinks insufficiently in advance and shrinks in the later period
  2. Inadequate ironing will make the fabric uneven and wrinkled
  3. Influence cutting, resulting in size difference

4.Insufficient stereo modeling

5.The seams and pleats are uneven and so on
