Before Hat in Process Inspection,Need Know the Manufacturing
Hat can be used as dress up, according to the face shape and figure to choose the right hat. Hat form and color are generally matched with clothing. In the early stage, most importers will first observe the market and look for the market positioning of products, then find reliable hat suppliers at the canton fair or through friends’ introduction, preferably it is integrated with industry and trade, plus the third-party companies factory audit, can ensure fast , reliable delivery and meet the needs of importers during the peak season of hats.
Because hats can be divided into wool caps, straw hats, woven caps, leather caps and so on according to the materials, the inspection methods for hats made of each material are slightly different. Before hat in process inspection, CQI inspection will study different materials and make inspection plans to meet the inspection requirements of importers.
Hat in Process Inspection, the Process of Technology
Raw material preparation – cutting – sewing – printing or embroidery – making sweat bands – ironing and setting – packaging
1.Cutting
Cut into pieces manually or with a press, select different models according to customer’s order requirements, and drill holes with a drilling machine. At the same time, according to the size of various buckles and the width of cloth belts, leftover materials are selected and cloth is cut by a cloth cutter. Finally, select the soft lining and use the ironing machine to attach the cap piece and the soft lining together.
2.Embroidery
Different embroidery styles are customized according to patterns or trademarks. When making embroidery holes, the holes should be aligned, and products with broken edges or stains should be picked out in time. Minor products can be handed over to the cutting workshop for timely patch.
3.Sewing
The sewing of each cutting piece must be completed in strict accordance with the design or special requirements of the customer, and the excess thread ends must be removed finally. In hat in process inspection, the most common defect is thread ends, which often lead to minor problems exceeding the standard due to insufficient pruning by workers.
4.Make sweat bands
According to different requirements of customers, the width of sweat band is determined by order and fabric. In addition, sponge or non-woven fabric is generally selected, and sewing is required to avoid needle skipped.
Hat in Process Inspection, the Impact of Technology on Products
The influence of cutting process
If the machine is cut manually, attention should be paid to controlling the strength and accuracy of the machine to prevent waste materials. CQI inspection often sees redundant leftover materials in hat in process inspection, resulting in a decline in product appearance.
Influence of embroidery process
The color of the embroidery thread cannot be chosen incorrectly, otherwise the pattern will deviate. In serious cases, even the whole batch of goods will have embroidery errors, delaying the shipment date. The front and back of embroidering, and whether the embroidering lines are neat, are also the inspection points that hat in process inspection cannot ignore.
Influence of sweat band process
The main function of the sweat band is to absorb sweat and disperse odor, so it is not allowed for the sweat band to fall or mold after the product is used for a period of time. When making sweat bands, the eyebrow angle should be basically symmetrical on both sides, the seal should be tight, and the needle spacing should be controlled.
Hat in process inspection tends to find problems in the product manufacturing process, thus allowing manufacturers to improve the process in time and avoiding subsequent production delays. And hat inspection is to randomly select quantitative products to check the product quality before the products are shipped. In case of serious problems, manufacturers are required to rework to avoid sales risks.
