Pay More Attention To The Workload Of Manufacturing Workers

Now the workload of workers in manufacturing industry:

One workpiece is processed in 59 seconds, one person drives 4 CNC lathes, excluding one hour for lunch, one hour for dinner at night, and 10 hours for work. One lathe has to process 600pcs a day, and 4 lathes are 2400pcs.

One person runs back and forth to do it, and there is no delay in the middle. In this way, the output is barely reached by the end of the day. After a day, the workers were exhausted with their legs sore and weak, and they fell asleep when they got home, sometimes they were so tired that they fell asleep without taking a bath!

In this case, the director of the workshop also said that the workers was not familiar with this work, if they could, they could do it easily, like playing ,which was completely enjoyable!  The director says it’s easy to work a day or a week, but if you work 12 hours a day, in shifts, and only have a day off for half a month, you won’t be able to retain people in this position for a year. Moreover, the financial department of the factory will send the accountant to measure the processing time by stopwatch every day. In addition, the engineers in the process department optimized the machining process again and again, fearing that there is still somewhere not optimized! The number of tool changes, bathroom breaks, and water breaks for workers were all limited, and one more would affect the output of the day. The machining environment is not good, dirty and tiring. In winter, the workshop is unusually cold, and in summer, the industrial fan is fully open, blowing hot air. Leaders came to the workshop once and left in a few minutes, and workers worked in such an environment every day.

For a job like this, the salary is only US$700-900.How could the manufacturing industry still want workers to love the factory as their home? Therefore, business owners in the manufacturing industry need to think seriously about how to motivate their workers in order to avoid high resignation rates.
