Choose Chargers, Please Pay Attention To Check The Parameters
Nowadays, smartphones are being updated very quickly, and within a few years, the family can save a bunch of chargers.
The plug of the charger are similar. At present, there are three kinds of chargers used on cell phones, Android phones are microUSB, the newer one is type-C, Apple phones are lightning, so it is common to mix cell phone chargers. For example, use the iPad charger to charge the iPhone. Most people do notcare about the charger model, as well as the voltage and current markings on it. But when buying a phone, we are often reminded by the store: to use the original charger charging.
Then the question arises, do mobile phone chargers have to be original? Is it OK to mix the chargers? Suppose the original charger of the phone is 5V/2A, is it OK to use other chargers?

Firstly, with 5V/1A low current charger, the charging time will be doubled and the charger will get heated.
With a 1A charger “below the standard value”, you can charge it,but the charging speed will be slower and take longer time. And the charging head may have the phenomenon of heat, because the charger has been in a state of overload. So this way is OK but not recommended, unless there is only this one charging head around.

Secondly, with 5V/4A high current charger, it does not get faster, the charging time is basically the same.
Charging with a 4A charger that is “higher than standard” will take the same amount of time as a standard charger and will not speed up, but will not damage the phone either. Because the phone has a power management chip that reduces the current to 2A the phone allowed. So there is no problem in this way,

Thirdly, use 9V/2A or 5V/4.5A fast charging charger, you’d better not use 9V.
Now fast charging technology is developing rapidly, to speed up the charging speed,many cell phones are increased the voltage, current.But fast charging is not just a matter of the charger, but also needs the support of the phone. General regular charger, will be based on the phone output voltage / current output.But it is best to ensure that the voltage is 5V and do not try to charge the phone with a high voltage.
The charging current is determined by the phone, not the current marked on the charger.
That number marked on the charger is the maximum current output of the charger, but the actual current is controlled by the phone. So with a 4A charger, or even a 30A charger, there will be no safety issues. And the phone power chip encountering high current, or abnormal temperature, will trigger the protection device and stop charging. Just like the iphone charger is 5V/1A, ipad charger is 5V/2A,which can be completely mixed to use. For charger with several kinds of USB ports , the total output may be 5V/12A, single port output is 5V/2.4A, so it can both charge the ipad, but also the phone. Finally concluded: As long as it is a regular charger, it is possible to mix but to ensure that the output voltage is the same (generally 5V).
